Two Zambia army soldiers have appeared in the Lusaka Magistrate Court for allegedly murdering a police officer.
Nasson Kasokomona and Haggai Banda, aged 25 respectively, appeared before Lusaka Magistrate Muzambilika Simwatachele and understood the charge when it was read to them.
The duo of Mikango Barracks will have their case heard in the Lusaka High Court.
Nasson and Haggai allegedly murdered Duke Mtonga a police officer after a confrontation as the deceased and his colleague did not declare their gun when entering the barracks where a suspect led them to recover stolen items.
