Sex Workers in Itala Compund In Mukushi are allegedly administering piriton on their children and siblings to send them into deep sleep while they are out conducting their business.
Some Mukushi residents complained that sex workers locked up their children and siblings overnight in their houses overnight while they go out for business.
They said once the children take the tablets they sleep and only wake up the following day.
The residents appealed to authorities in the district to quickly investigate the matter and bring the culprits to book.
