President SATA Initiated Me Into The Journey Of Politics To Serve Zambians -Kabimba

Michael Sata initiated me into the journey of politics to serve the people of Zambia and in him I have lost a father and mentor, says Wynter Kabimba.
Kabimba said he received the news of president Sata’s death with sorrow and said his vision and passion for Zambia should not be abandoned. “With your values and ideals, you initiated me into the journey of politics to serve our people.
Although you have left me before that journey is complete, the inspiration you gave me will be my guiding light through this darkest hour, and to the end of the journey we started together. My friend, my father, my mentor and my leader; I will greatly miss you.
Rest in eternal peace until we meet again,” Kabimba said in his obituary on president Sata. He said president Sata had been his mentor, leader and father from the time he worked with him in the local government service. “He has been my mentor, leader and father from way back during our time in local government. He’s the one actually who groomed me even in local government up to the position of town clerk,” Kabimba said. He said the political skills people saw in him were inherited from president Sata and that the two shared confidentialities.
“He trusted me and I also trusted him, he loved me and I also loved him. There’s a lot that we shared which nobody will ever know in this country.
We shared a lot of confidentialities; that is how much he trusted me,” said Kabimba, adding that president Sata inspired him with his humility, love, selflessness, values and ideals both as a person and as a politician.
