PF secretary general Edgar Lungu has told the Lusaka high court that attorney general Musa Mwenye threatened him that he would be charged with treason if he did not surrender the instruments of power to vice president Dr. Guy Scott a day after president Michael Sata died in London.
According to submissions filed in court Mr. Lungu says, Mr. Mwenye told him to surrender instruments of power as Mr. Sata who had appointed him had died.
Mr. Lungu has supported newton Nguni who has sought for judicial review challenging the handover of power to Dr. Guy Scott as acting president.
