Zambia midfielder Felix Katongo says Sunday’s 1-0 win over Burundi at the Cecafa Cup is a big relief.

The Green Buffaloes midfielder has been in inspired form for Zambia at the ongoing Cecafa Cup tournament in Kenya.
Katongo has provided two assists  for both of Zambia’s goals in  1-1 draw with Tanzania on November 28 and Sunday’s win over Burundi.
“The game was tough and we needed the three points,” Katongo told SuperSport after the match against Burundi.
Katongo also walked away with the man of the match award in the match against Burundi after Festus Mbewe turned in his pass in the 65th minute to seal Zambia’s first win at the tournament.
“I am happy that I am the man of the match. It is not easy to be a man of the match because each game has been a tough game,” Katongo said, who returned to the Zambia fold in November for the first time since the 2013 Africa Cup finals in South Africa in January.
Meanwhile, Sundays win sees Zambia tied on four points from two games with Tanzania heading into their final Group B matches against winless Somalia and third placed Burundi respectively on December 4 at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.
Burundi, who have also qualified for the 2014 CHAN finals in south Africa, have three points from two games after losing to Zambia.
