Zambia captain and defender Stopilla Sunzu says they will not underrate any of their Group B opponents at the 2015 Africa Cup.
The 2012 champions will face 2004 winners Tunisia, two-time champions DR Congo and 2013 quarterfinalists Cape Verde in Group B.
“No game is easy, all games are difficult. We just have to go with a fighting spirit and not underrate anyone,” Sunzu told The Post Newspaper.
Zambia will kick off its 2015 Africa Cup campaign in Equatorial Guinea on January 18 against a team very familiar to Sunzu when they face DR Congo in Ebebiyin.
Sunzu spent four years at DR Congo champions TP Mazembe before moving to French Ligue 2 club Sochaux on a long-term deal in January.
Meanwhile, Sunzu recently returned to training at Sochaux after a month out with a hamstring injury.
“I have recovered and ready to play,” Sunzu said.
