Nevers Cannot Expel Me, He Is Dreaming, Muhabi Lungu

The war of words between MMD President and his protege turned nemesis National Secretary Muhabi Lungu has continued to rage on.
Lungu has hit back at Mumba saying the MMD President has no power to hand out an expulsion to a National Secretary.
Lungu challenged Mumba to state where in the constitution he derived that power as it is a sole preserve of the party’s NEC.
There has been an intense power struggle in the former ruling party that culminated in Lungu orchestrating an internal palace coup that saw Mumba dethroned and replaced with former President Rupiah Banda.
Meanwhile, Deputy National Secretary Chembe Nyangu who was this afternoon expelled together with Lungu has described Mumba’s action as a Joke.
