Zambia defender Christopher Munthali and goalkeeper Joshua Titima have travelled for Power Dynamos’ 10-day Confederation Cup camp in Kenya.

Power are in Kenya en route to Sudan ahead of their 2015 Confederation Cup preliminary round, first leg match away to Al Khartoum SC on February 13.

Munthali and Titima flew out to Nairobi with Power on Saturday just 48 hours after arriving from Zambia duty at the 2015 Africa Cup in Equatorial Guinea.

They were earlier indications by Power officials that the duo would join the team this week after just returning from Africa Cup duty but coach Tennant Chilumba insisted they travel with the team.

“Munthali has been called to help solidify our defence and we are happy with his performance at the Africa Cup,” Power coach Tennant Chilumba said.

Meanwhile, Power got their training camp off to a flying start on Sunday when they beat Kenyan champions Gor Mahia 3-0 in Nairobi.

Midfielder’s Kennedy Mudenda, Larry Bwalya and Richard Kasonde were all on the scoresheet.

Power take on Sofapaka in their penultimate friendly match on Wednesday and wrap-up their camp on Saturday against Tusker.
