Some Pf cadres this morning lead by the Pf chairlady Mrs. Nkunda swung into action and locked the District Commissioner’s office Mr. Maxwell Siamaliba.The cadres who went to the district administrative officer at 07.00, ordered the government workers to move out of the office and they went ahead and locked the DC’s office.
The Cadres have accused the Dc of not protecting the locals when it comes to the issue of employment in the district. They have also accused him of killing the ruling party among other issues. Meanwhile, the police have sealed the office but the cadres said, they will not allow the Dc to occupy the office again and we will make sure that he is gone.
He is no longer needed. Enough is enough said Mrs. Nkunda.We have written several letters to our party secretariat and nothing is not happening. Mean while a check at the district administrative office, found the DAO and other the workers standing outside and they only managed to enter the office in the presence of the police. Among other notable Government officers seen at the scene are, the DIO-Chirundu.
The Officer In charge Chirundu police and the council secretary-Chirundu district council also on scene was former Chirundu Area Councilor Mr. Gift Chanda. Meanwhile the DC’S office remains locked and Mr.Siamalimba the district commissioner was not there at the cadres took action and they have camped at their Pf office 500 meters away from the district administrative office, denouncing Mr. Maxwell Siamaliba and singing songs in praise of the man of action the president Mr.Micheal Chilufya Sata and demanding that, the president immediately remove the DC from Chirundu.
