President Edgar Lungu says he has discussed withthe Chinese authorities the issue of Zambians living with HIV who are being deported from China.
The Zambian mission in China informed President Lungu that the Chinese government has been sending away Zambians if they become HIV positive while in that country.
Addressing Zambians living in China, President Lungu said he had discussed the issue with that country’s President who promised him that he will intervene in the matter.
President Lungu is in China for his official visit to that country.
Russia is also another country that deports Zambians once they become infected before or whilst living there
