POPULAR Musician Chama Fumba also known as Pilato has been set free after the state dropped his case. He was charged with an offence of conduct likely to cause a breach of peace.
The state has entered a nolle prosequi in the case in which controversial Copperbelt musician Pilato is facing one count of conduct likely to breach peace.
It is alleged the musician, born Chama Fumba a song titled ‘Alungu Anabwela’ that incensed some sectors of the public.
In the controversial satirical piece out of the studio, allegedly takes aim and lampoons President Lungu and brings the name of the Head of State into disrepute with lyrical content that suggests the Head of State emerges out of his former Constituency Chawama with Jameson and other potent whiskeys stashed in his suit case to become President after the death of the PF’s founding President Micheal Sata.
