Acting Labour Minister Chishimba Kambwili has given Times of Zambia 14 days to pay its employees or face the wrath of his anger.
Mr. Kambwili says it is unfortunate that parastatals like the Times of Zambia can fail to manage their employees, who have gone unpaid for three months.
He says he does not care where the board will find the money, but all he wants is that the Times of Zambia should pay its employees in two weeks.
Times of Zambia employees accross Ndola, Kitwe and Lusaka have downed tools demanding to be paid their three months salary arrears.
Kambwili has also given a one month notice the Lusaka City Council and Chipata Municipal Council to pay their employees or face appropriate action.
