It appears that days are numbered for ex-theft and corruption convict Richard Sakala and his slandering paper namely the Daily Nation as TrafiguraOil Company has reached a decision to commence defamation proceedings following the malice that has been peddled by his paper.
An investigation by the Zambian Intelligence News (ZIN) has revealed that the ex-Chimbokaila inmate will soon be frequenting the courts of law as Trafigura oil company that he has continued to slander under the instruction of his paymasters is finalizing the process of commencing civil proceedings related to a slanderous campaign that is aimed at tarnishing the image of the reputable oil company and continues to bring its name into contempt.
A source has revealed that TrafiguraOil Company has grown weary of the falsehoods that Sakala has been publishing in his newspaper without exercising restraint and a decision was consequently made to quickly bring the ex-convict’s rot to a stop.
He added that the Company feels unfairly treated by a renowned criminal who has been hired to execute the task of tarnishing its image. All the allegations regarding South Africa and its Government are false and in fact Trafigura have a huge presence in South Africa and work very closely with the South African authorities.
Given the progress that has been made by Trafigura lawyers, the summons are expected to be served on the former State House press aide who turned out to be a common criminal and will see him frequent the courts again but this time in civil proceedings.
The editorial article in the Post headlined “crimes are not for us but for Sakala with his Daily Nation and his matters” is most appropriate.
Sakala’s affinity to criminality dates as far back as the time that he served at Statehouse and engaged in a number of thieving acts which later culminated into his prosecution and subsequent conviction for theft and corruption.
He has however brought a twist to his love for illegal dealings as he now prefers to go against the law using his slandering tool which is constantly for hire namely the Daily Nation.
