TKM 2Dear Editor,

This woman in the photo  is a professional prostitute in and around Lusaka who is targeting unsuspecting married Men. She is going out with my Husband and I want the whole world to know what she has done and is actaually destroying my marriage of many years.

I want to get to the bottom of things and ensure that I completely teach her a lesson never again to do what she is doing. I also want her to immediately STOP going to my Husband’s office pretending to be working when she is after sex and money.

‘President Lungu Needs To Tolerate Dissent’

$
0
0

I am greatly troubled by President Edgar Lungu’s threats that he will “crush” members of the Patriotic Front who have dissenting views, and/or those who have reservations about the manner in which he is discharging his duties as Patriotic Front President and as President of the Republic of Zambia.

Is the President going to “crush” his political opponents personally, or is he going to engage the riff-raffs in his political party in this endeavor?

I hope the presidency has not intoxicated him to think that he can freely abuse the defence and national security organs of the government in his desire to suppress dissent and criticism within the Patriotic Front and beyond!

The defence and security organs of the government—including the Zambia Prison Service, the Zambia Police Service, the Zambia Security Intelligence Services, and the Zambia Defence Force—are non-political institutions designed to serve our beloved country and all its people.

The use of such institutions of government to silence one’s political opponents, or in any other dubious activities, would, therefore, not only be morally unacceptable but would also constitute an unconstitutional use of the institutions.

In the ensuing sections, I have cited the functions of the Zambia Defence Force and the Zambia Police Service stipulated in Articles 101 and 104 of the 1996 Republican constitution. Further, I have briefly discussed the need for our country’s armed forces to be non-partisan and apolitical in both word and deed.

The Zambia Defence Force

The functions of the Zambia Defence Force prescribed in the Republican constitution are as follows:

(a) To preserve and defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Zambia;
(b) To cooperate with civilian authorities in serving communities in emergency situations and in cases of natural disasters;
(c) To foster harmony and understanding between the Zambia Defence Force and civilians; and
(d) To engage in productive activities for the development of Zambia.

The Zambia Police Service

The Zambia Police Service is mandated to perform the following functions:

(a) To protect life and property;
(b) To preserve law and order;
(c) To detect and prevent crime; and
(d) To cooperate with civilian authorities and other security organs in serving the people and the country at large.

A Civic and Moral Obligation

Zambia’s armed forces have a civic and moral duty to participate actively in maintaining peace and stability in our beloved country, and in making a positive contribution to the viability of our country’s nascent democracy.

As Edward Shils has maintained, there is a need for military officers, intelligence officers, and the civil police in our country’s armed forces to consider themselves as being part of the “technical-executive in-telligentsia,” who, together with politicized intellectuals (that is, civilian leaders), should play the role of guarantor of political stability, honesty, and discipline in government.

A major requirement in performing such a pivotal role in our country’s quest for sustained peace and stability is for members of the armed forces to be apolitical and non-partisan, and for civilian leaders to have constitutionally guaranteed control over all branches of the country’s armed forces.

Therefore, Zambia, like any other peace-loving nation worldwide, needs the services of a military establishment that is administered by a cadre of men and women who are adjudged to be patriotic, apoli¬tical, well-disci¬plined, and professional in charac¬ter in its quest for sustained peace and stability.

However, it would be unrealistic and imprudent to expect armed forces to be apolitical and non-partisan in serving under civilian leaders in our country—and in any other country, as a matter of fact—in the absence of a system of governance which provides for peaceful removal of flagrantly corrupt, extravagant, despotic, nepotistic, and/or grossly incompetent government officials.

Conclusion

Once upon a time, Sigmund Freud made the following conclusion about the violent nature of humans:

“Psychoanalysis has concluded … that the primitive, savage, and evil impulses of mankind have not vanished in any individual, but continue their existence, although in repressed state … and … wait for opportunities to display their activity.”

While this could be true about our potentially aggressive nature as humans, we expect all political leaders to make an earnest effort in overcoming their primitive, savage, and evil impulses.

They need to take the lead in heeding the free advice provided in James 1:19 and Proverbs 29:11 of the Holy Bible, which I have paraphrased as follows: Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and swift in taming your temper.

In January 2015, President Lungu was given the mandate by the people of Zambia to form government with the expectation that he would serve all citizens irrespective of their political views, political affiliations, ethnic extraction, and/or religious convictions. As such, he needs to develop a thick skin, and he should realize that criticism is a necessary nuisance in politics that cannot be wished away.

So, if he cannot withstand the heat, he should stay out of the kitchen, so to speak, because threats against his critics will very likely dare them to intensify their criticism and indignation.

He should, therefore, make an effort to be adept at the arts of politics; among other things, he needs to exhibit a high level of tact and genuine respect in his dealings with political opponents and other members of society.

Besides, he needs to develop the qualities that all national leaders need to have in their arsenal of aptitudes. Such qualities include the following: emotional stability, humility, patriotism, selflessness, impartiality, patience, compassion, tolerance, respect for the rule of law, ability to think of leadership as a temporary mandate to serve the people, ability to conceive of oneself as just another mortal with limited knowledge and aptitudes, ability to make compromises with people who have dissenting views, and the ability to accept criticism and dissent as necessary evils in public life.

By the way, it is not going to be possible for us to mitigate the rampant incidence of politically motivated violence in the intermediate term given the Republican president’s aggressive and belligerent demeanor in his dealings with political opponents.

Dear Sir,

RE: YOUR STATEMENT REGARDING THE WEAK KWACHA

Greetings!
Today I heard a story on Radio Phoenix Business News shortly after the 06:45 hours news bulletin in which you were quoted saying the reason the Zambian Kwacha is weak is because the money market has no confidence in the leadership of President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
With due respect I think that your statement is fallacious and highly misleading. I am not an economist and I have never claimed to be one but I know that the cause of the weakening of our Kwacha is not the alleged poor leadership of President Lungu. Please remember that the depreciation of the Kwacha did not start with the swearing in of Mr Lungu who, as a matter of fact, has only been in office for less than two months. Moreover, weakening of a national currency everywhere in the world is caused by factors that go beyond alleged poor political leadership of one person occupying the seat of president. I believe that real economists agree with me on this common knowledge.
Against this background, people should be surprised that you, a self-acclaimed economist and claims to have answers to our economic woes including the weakening of the Kwacha, can make such a misguided statement.
As for me, I am not surprised because I have heard you say things that don’t make economic sense and therefore I have learnt to ignore your statements. However, I have failed to ignore you this time around because I realize that there many people who may believe your economic fallacies and unfair criticism of the leadership of President Lungu. It is my duty as a responsible citizen to protest such people from being misled on such a matter of public interest.
As a lay person I know that among the causes of the weakening of the Kwacha is that our country has made a lot of negative progress namely importing too many goods and services. Many people who are trading in Zambia today are buying their merchandise from China, India, South Africa, Malaysia etc. I believe that even the floor tiles, taps, sinks etc in your own new mansion are not manufactured in Zambia. For you to have imported these goods or whoever brought them into Zambia, you needed foreign exchange.
As such, there has been a huge increase in the demand for convertible currency especially United States of America (US) Dollars. Even companies that are manufacturing various goods in Zambia including some drinks import material and various items from other countries. So we have a situation where too many people are chasing foreign exchange. Moreover, the value of our exports is like a drop in the ocean when compared to the value of our imports. This scenario puts pressure on the Kwacha leading to its weakening.
I also know that many foreign companies that have come to Zambia to do projects such as building power stations under ZESCO, roads, building shopping malls including individual Zimbabweans who are making nice ceiling boards in our homes are using foreign currency to send their profits back to their countries. The money involved here is huge. This situation has also contributed to the weakening of the Kwacha.
It is against this background that I find your statement fallacious, misguided and misleading. Zambians will appreciate you more if you give them an accurate analysis of what has caused the weakening of our Kwacha and give solutions. This is not to say that our political leadership including concerned institutions such as Bank of Zambia don’t have solutions. To the contrary they have. However, implementing such solutions including improving the manufacturing sector, diversifying agriculture to grow high value crops for exports etc are long term measures that are not easy to implement.
Finally, I think that if you continue to make such misguided statements as a self-proclaimed economist you will cause the erosion of public confidence in politicians who are economists. I would appreciate you commenting on the economy in a manner that should make people see the value that economic insight brings to political leadership.

I wish you well.

I’m 26 and shes 24. I love her so much that I do everything for her. I bought her an Iphone out of love while I keep using my Techno mobile.
I still get her K10 worth airtime daily even though she has never given me a call before. When we are together she sometimes calls a certain
number and tells him she loves him.

When I confront her she tells me she is just joking with the guy, I’m so confused. Should I increase the airtime to K20?

A 53-year-old pastor from Nigeria has been arrested after he allegedly impregnated more than 20 members of his congregation, including several married women and young girls.

Now the general overseer of Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity, Pastor Timothy Ngwu, claims that the Holy Spirit told him to have sex with them.

Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, a spokesman for the Enugu State Police Command said that the the man was arrested for abusing his female members.

“The pastor claims to be obeying prophetic/spiritual injunction to do the will of God, which is to impregnate any one chosen and revealed by the Holy Spirit, irrespective of whether the woman is married or not,” said Amaraizu.

“When the woman is delivered of the baby, the child remains in the ministry with the mother for life,” he added.

Ngwu was reported to the police by his estranged wife, Veronica Ngwu, who got tired of his behaviour after he impregnated her young niece.

Ngwu said that he has approximately five wives with 13 children along with concubines he ‘acquired by the prophetic will of God.’

He said he never had sex with any of the married women unless their husbands agreed with the request of the Holy Spirit.

Calista Omeje and Assumpta Odo, two of the women who left their husbands to live with the pastor said they did so based on the pastor’s prophetic anointing.

Calista, who has 10 children with her husband, said Ngwu had impregnated her but the baby died. She also revealed that she gave her daughter to the pastor.

Another mother of eight, Odo, said Ngwu impregnated her and her daughter.

The pastor’s brother said that he had been warning Ngwu and his family about his behaviour for a long time but he refused to listen. The arrest, he said, was God’s wrath falling on his brother.

STUDY:Short Men Have More Sex

If you are moderately short or even short, do not worry as you will be a champion when it comes to performing the real act.

According to an interesting finding, those who are about 5 feet 9 inches and under enjoy sex better and in plenty.

“When comparing men’s sexual activity levels based on characteristics such as age, height, weight and health, the younger, fitter men tended to get more play,” researchers said.

However, we were surprised to see that “coital frequency was higher among men with a height of less than 5 ft 9 in”, they noted.

For the study, researchers looked at 531 men between ages 20 and 54.

Among men who reported a coital frequency of more than 3.5 times a week, waist circumference showed borderline association with lower sexual activity, while lesser height was associated with higher sexual activity.

“Obesity and metabolic diseases can cause all types of sexual function to deteriorate in older age, whereas their effects may not yet be prominent at younger ages (below 45 years),” the study observed.

Opposition UPND President Hakainde Hichilema says he is ready to be detained over his claims that he he receives intelligence information before President Edgar Lungu does.

Mr Hichilema who has been summoned to appear for questioning today has told QFM News that  if what is purported to have said amounts to a crime he is ready to be detained because this will not be the first time that he will be detained but the tenth time.

He says he will avail himself to the Police for questioning.

Mr. Hichilema says Zambia is his only home and that no amount of arrests will make him run away from the country.

He however, noted that what is currently happening to vocal opposition leaders like him under the PF government is a clear testimony that the country is being allegedly governed by a dictatorship.

The UPND leader states that anyone who had doubts about this should now come to terms with this reality.

Asked whether he did not think his revelations could have compromised the country’s national security, Mr. Hichilema says the truth will come out if this was possible.

(laughing). I can’t abide by the Bible stuff on s*x. S*x is something normal. If you know you are matured and ready and you can handle it then go ahead”.

DPP:Stop Rupiah Banda’s Case

The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) has asked the Supreme Court to stop proceedings in the magistrate court in which former President Rupiah Banda has sued The Post Newspaper and its proprietor Fred M’membe for defamation until determination of the appeal.
This is according to ex-parte affidavit in support of summons to stay proceedings of the subordinate court filed in the Supreme Court by the State.
The State contended that it is dissatisfied with the High Court decision to quash the decision of the DPP to take over the prosecution of the case.
They further stated that constitutional questions concerning the powers of the DPP have arisen which require the Supreme Court to address.
It was also argued that in view of the serious constitutional matters that have been raised, the proceedings in the magistrate court should be stayed because if that is not done, the appeal may be rendered academic.
The DPP appealed against the High Court decision by Judge Chalwe Mchenga, who quashed the State’s decision to take over proceedings in which Mr Banda has sued Mr M’membe for defamation saying the court erred in law when it extended article 18 of the constitution to Mr Banda when it applies to the rights of an accused person.
They further said that Justice Mchenga erred in law when he held that under article 56 of the constitution the DPP needed to show that the takeover was in public interest, the constitution does not state so.

Rupiah Banda says there is no need for politicians to criticise each other in an insulting manner. Speaking to journalists shortly after he paid a courtesy call on paramount chief Mpezeni at Laweni, Banda said Zambians should look at the future of the country.
“We don’t need to exchange bitter words. Peace is important; as you can see, we are here enjoying. So I am appealing to all my colleagues not to insult each other. Let’s focus on the future. God gave us a good country that receives adequate rains and we do our farming well, so we don’t need to hate each other,” he said.
Asked how he felt President Edgar Lungu was responding to criticism, Banda said the President was doing fine. “No, I think he is doing very well,” said Banda.

HH Leaves Woodlands police station In Lusaka after Police interview yesterday

Police in Lusaka yesterday recorded a warn and caution statement from United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema.
Mr Hichilema arrived at Lusaka’s Woodlands Police station at 10:23 hours in the company of his lawyers, several UPND members of Parliament (MPs) and party members.
He was immediately ushered to a room where he was questioned for over two hours.
Police spokesperson Charity Chanda said Mr Hakainde was warned and cautioned in relation to three statements he made at a press briefing last week.
Mrs Chanda told journalists at Woodlands Police station yesterday that Mr Hichilema was questioned under the State Security Act Chapter 111 sub-section 43.
“Mr Hichilema has been warned and cautioned for saying that he gets first-hand intelligence news; for saying that President Edgar Lungu has released US$10 million to destabilise the UPND; and that the President has also hired people whom he has sent to investigate the source of funding for the UPND in the January 20 presidential elections,” she said.
Mrs Chanda said Mr Hichilema remained silent throughout the interview and that investigations in the matter will continue.
She said police could not caution Mr Hichilema immediately after he made the statements because police are still carrying out their own investigations.
“Our actions are not based on the directives from the President. In fact we had finished our ground work when that statement was made, so it was just a coincidence,” she said.
Mr Hichilema’s lawyer, Jack Mwiimbu, said: “We have been interviewed, he has denied the charges and further investigations will continue.”
Mr Mwiimbu contends that the offence Mr Hichilema allegedly committed is not treasonable.
“Police must operate and investigate this matter professionally. We hope it will not go as far as it has gone today,” he said.
Meanwhile, business came to a standstill at Woodlands Shopping Mall as the entrance gate was closed due to the presence of UPND cadres.
However, there were no problematic incidents as the scene was heavily guarded by police in riot gear.

In Your 70s And Losing Memory? Try Some Sex

Staying active between the sheetscan help older adults stay sharp mentally, finds a new study which suggests that men and women who stay sexually active in their 70s have higher cognitive functioning.

For the results, researchers from the Netherlands analysed 1,747 people (with an average age of 71).

They answered questions about their sexual relationships and whether they consider intimacy to be an important part of life.

The team assessed sexual activity, memory, mental processing speed, general cognitive function and ability to reason and think abstractly in the participants.

They also compared their answers to medical charts tracking chronic diseases, depression and medications.

The findings showed that older adults who did not see the importance of sexual behaviour or a need for intimacy had lower average cognitive scores.

Those who felt sexuality was important and said they were satisfied with their current sexual activity had better cognitive scores, Newsmax.com reported.

The association between lower general cognitive functioning and perceiving sexuality as unimportant was stronger in women.

“Lower processing speed, general cognitive functioning, and delayed memory recall were associated with disagreeing with a remaining need for intimacy when getting older,” the team wrote.

Those who were satisfied with their sexual relationships performed consistently better on memory tests, they concluded.
