Shocking:Blind Couple Held Over K15,000 Theft
Police in Kabwe have arrested a blind couple for allegedly stealing K15,000 meant for the Blind Skills Farmers’ Club in Serenje.
The police identified the couple as Isaiah Mushota, aged 56, and his wife Doreen Mando, 44, both of Katondo Township in Kabwe.
Central Province Commissioner of Police Standwell Lungu said that the Blind Skills Farmers’ Club was run by the visually impaired and supported by the Ministry of Community Development and Social Welfare.
The two were leaders in the farmers’ club at the time they allegedly stole the money before fleeing from Serenje.
Mr Lungu said investigations revealed that the money (K15,000) was deposited in June this year through Finance Bank in Serenje into the club’s account but it was later withdrawn by Mushota from Lusaka.
The couple is suspected to have taken advantage of their positions in the club, where Mushota was chairperson and his wife treasurer, to access the funds illegally.
Mr Lungu said the couple had been on the run for a while but was finally apprehend yesterday in Katondo area and would be charged with theft.
Lack Of Care Forced My Son To Become Gay, Says Dad
A man of Makeni in Lusaka has claimed before the local court that his son has resorted to homosexuality because of lack of care by his former wife who is currently staying with them.
John Mbasela, 40, who has sued his ex-wife Ezel Mbao, 36, of Mtendere Township demanding for the custody of the two children, said his 15-year-old son was involved in homosexuality due to the lack of parental care.
Facts before the court were that Mbasela and Mbao divorced in 2006 after marital disputes before the woman was given the custody of the children.
Mbasela told the court that his children had been staying with Mbao from the time they divorced although he had been supporting them.
He submitted that while he was comfortable with the children staying with their mother, he was hurt when he discovered that his 15-year-old boy was a homosexual.
Apparently Mbasela had been informed by the head teacher at a boarding school where his child was that he had been chased because he was involved in homosexuality.
He attributed the son’s behaviour to the fact that he grew up without a father to instill good morals in him.
Mbasela said since the two divorced his ex-wife had always refused him access to the children, hence he never spent time with his son.
“I want to start staying with my children so that I can be able to give them parental guidance. All the children are boys, hence they need for a father to teach them good ways of living,” he said
However, Mbao told the court that the reason his husband wanted the children was because he never wanted to continue supporting them.
She said she was not willing to give the children to Mbasela because he was never home and no one would be taking care of the children.
Mbao refuted the allegation that he never allowed the children to spend time with their father, saying it was him who never had time for them.
“I can’t give him my children because this man is always busy and he goes home late. Again he drinks too much, I don’t want my children to become drunkards like him.
The matter has since been adjourned to September 15.

Monkey Causes Blackout In Livingstone
A monkey was on Monday electrocuted at the Victoria Falls Power Station in Livingstone, causing a blackout and delaying Vice-President Dr Guy Scott’s schedule at the Zambezi Sun Hotel for two hours.
According to a Zesco engineer who preferred anonymity, as he was not permitted to talk to the media, the monkey jumped onto a step-down transformer and sat on naked live wires, tripping safety power mechanisms in the process, and it died instantly.
“It was a monkey that led to the entire city being blacked out after it went and sat on our step-down transformers. We received several calls from Sun Hotel in the aftermath of the monkey being electrocuted… that their standby power generator had also failed to kick in and wanted our help to restore power as Dr Guy Scott could not open the judges’ conference in darkness,” the engineer said.
At the hotel, panic gripped management as its general manager, Joanne Selby, was seen frantically pacing up and down at the Zambezi Sun Hotel, where the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association (CMJA) meeting was due to be opened by Vice-President Scott.
The power failure led to delegates taking time to enjoy traditional dances provided by the national dance troupe and Tujatane Primary School.
And after power was restored, Vice-President Scott joked that Zambia had a popular image of being rather a ramshackle, rundown place and that he was going to say how false that was until power went off.
“Unfortunately, you have caught me on a matter of fact and I have to back that off,” joked Vice-President Scott.

Return of Apostolic Faith: T. B. Joshua Example
BY JUSTICE I.A. UMEZULIKE
By all cogent and credible biblical account, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, about 2000 years ago, healed all manner of infirmities or sicknesses that caught His attention; cast out demons from those possessed by evil spirits; liberated all those in satanic bondages, and gave solace to the heavy-laden. At His command, Lazarus who was dead for three days came out of the grave. That was the greatest miracle ever performed in this universe. Jesus Christ is clearly God Almighty. At His command the forces of nature had to rebuild or reconstruct the decomposing body of Lazarus including the moribund internal organs. He promised that His disciples and apostles would continue the good works or even perform greater miracles than He did.
Under the Acts of the Apostles in the Holy Book, the Apostles of Jesus Christ sustained the trend. They healed the sick, cast out heady demons and fed the needy in the church. No sickness and no demon resisted their touch and supplication. In Chapter 3 of the Acts of the Apostles Peter and John healed the man who was lame from his mother’s womb. Peter’s words to the lame man were very instructive. He said: “I have neither silver nor gold but what I have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ get up and walk”.
The sick man got up and walked to the consternation of the public. Numerous signs and wonders followed their evangelical work and ministration. Thousands and crowds of believers were added to the body of Christ.
After the death of the original apostles, this apostolic faith and feat appeared to have staggered. When, a few years ago some Christian church leaders announced their entry into the Presidential Villa, Abuja to minister unto or pray for Nigeria’s ailing President Yar’Adua, some of us felt that it was a golden opportunity to show case and, or, announce the awesome power and prevailing majesty of Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ before whom all living souls must bow either in life or at death.
We expected the replication of the Apostolic Faith and feat. We expected the ailing President Yar’dua to rise up from his sick-bed and announce his healing to the world. But the encounter turned out to be a colossal failure. It ended on a pious and idle note. The remainder is now history which does not deserve a footnote in Christian evangelical missions. I say so because, Disciples of Jesus Christ are invested with the awesome power and authority that comes from only Jesus.
Out of intellectual curiosity we sought to know those Christian leaders who embarked on the evangelical mission to the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The roster clearly showed that the glue that held those church leaders together were: expensive gold chains, gold rings and bracelets; expensive porsh cars and private jets; very fat bank accounts, and real estates; expensive suits and apparels.
It was clear that the Holy Ghost who is a crucial component of Jesus Christ and the awesome purveyor of power and authority of Jesus Christ was clearly not part of that journey. Expensive gold rings, real estates, private jets are too worldly for comfort of the Holy Spirit. They do not evince customary Christian abnegation and self-denial. And the Holy Spirit which is a helper and comforter cannot comfortably be in that company of church leaders that ingressed into the Presidential Villa.
A very important question to pose is whether those announced Church Leaders who went to the Presidential Villa qualify as disciples or apostles of Jesus Christ. A negative answer must be quickly returned. We have hinted above at their lack of tendency for self-denial and their proclivity to worldly acquisition. Speaking to a crowd of his followers in Mark 8 Verse 34, our Lord Jesus Christ said:”if any one wants to be my follower he must deny himself; take up his cross and follow me”.
The phrase “deny himself” used by Jesus Christ above connotes a deep sense of abnegation or self denial which is lacking amongst Christian leaders of the new-world. To many of them, their stomach and the proclivity to acquire private jests and real estates, are their gods. Again in John Chapter 17:16 our Lord Jesus Christ said concerning His disciples: “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world”.
To qualify as a disciple of Jesus Christ one’s life must evince that detachment from worldly pleasures and acquisitions.
It is important to point out that I am not a member of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN). I have never set my eyes physically on Prophet T. B. Joshua. But I have watched his Emmanuel Television for close to two years now. I am satisfied beyond every shadow of doubt that through Prophet T. B. Joshua the ancient apostolic faith and feat have returned to the world. And as is common in history, a prophet is never honored or decorated in his own country.
Prophet T. B. Joshua’s work of charity and care for the needy are unarguably unprecedented and freshivating. By my reckoning from watching the Emmanuel Television, he spends not less than twenty million naira every Sunday on the elderly and needy ones in the church and outside the church. He reminds me of Apostle Paul who when addressing members of a Gentile community told them that he never coveted their silver or gold or goods but had to work with his hands to feed himself and the needy ones in the church.
That apostolic faith had returned to the world through Prophet T. B. Joshua, also finds expression in the fact that I have not seen any sickness resist his touch. The examples could be mentioned with scarcely a pause for breath.
For the past two years that I have consistently watched the Emmanuel Television, I have not seen a single occasion where an infirmity defied his healing power. The examples are simply legion. But permit me to mention just a few and feel discharged.
Obviously the apostolic faith and feat have returned at the T. B. Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN). Members of the legal profession to which I belong are by training very conservative. We are always in search of credible and cogent evidence in order to be convinced over a given question.
In the Acts of the Apostles, anytime the apostles preached, the members of secret societies, occultists and idol worshippers surrendered their curious books and objects for destruction. This happens regularly at the SCOAN.
It was after a powerful sermon preached by Prophet T. B. Joshua that one of the greatest and well known occult grandmasters, invocators and herbalists from Ghana, Chief Theodore Adogan, surrendered all his curious objects and books of invocation for destruction at the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Lagos. But sadly today, some pastors of our churches seek help from these occult grandmasters and invocators or herbalists.
Evidently, Prophet T. B. Joshua’s spiritual and evangelical achievements have been received with little enthusiasm by his fellow Christian leaders who are simply envious and angry at the height and level the Holy Spirit had propelled him. They have weaved so much storms around Prophet T. B. Joshua but he has come out of those storms far better and less bitter.
In my reckoning he has towered far and above all known evangelists in Europe, Africa and America. Not even the legendary Prophet William Braham and Oral Roberts could stand with him on equal terms.
But he (Prophet T. B. Joshua) should plead “mea-culpa” for not accompanying those Church leaders who went to the Presidential Villa to minister to the late President Yar’Adua. It is my thinking that if he had been part of that entourage the awesome, prevailing, everlasting and paramount name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ would have been further elevated, invested, honoured and decorated to the entire world.

Warning: Watch Out!! -Nigerian Crooks Running Loose in Lusaka
I just want to share an experience I encountered a few days ago.
Last week I was taking a number on one of the posters on Zimbabwe road in Rhodes Park when some one approached me. He introduced himself as a refugee from Sudan and he come in Lusaka for interviews with UNHCR and he further went on to say that he needed to make some friends with some Zambians.
Since I was in a hurry I just gave him my business card and asked him to call me later. He called me the following day in the morning and asked that we meet so that he can explain his position, I proposed that we meet at Manda Hill for Lunch.
I met him at Manda Hill and we had some lunch at Chicken Inn and during lunch he explained to me that his is the son to a former Sudanese General who was killed in the war, that his father left him him some money before he died and that he came to Zambia so that he can invest this money but that the problem he is facing is that the law will not allow him to invest and that he does not know anyone one in Lusaka, that is the reason he is trying to make friends with me. After lunch he suggested that we meet the following day, but I told him I would be busy.
From his accent I knew he is actually a Nigerian and not Sudanese and I knew what he wanted but I just wanted to follow the whole saga.
After about 4 days he called me again asking that I meet him at Manda Hill but I told him I was busy and that I can only meet him after work at 17hrs and he said I meet him by UNHCR on Alick Nkhata road. I met him there and he suggested that we go somewhere so that he shows me something, we drove somewhere and parked by the road then he showed me a purported letter from UK to the Sudanese government explaining that the the UK had sent money disguised in green money size papers and that the money would only show after they wash with some chemicals which were in a different container. The chemicals and the ”money” would not be shipped in the same consignment for security reasons.
He then said that he had 1.5Millinon pounds worth of these notes which needed investing, he then pulled the ”chemicals” and two notes from his pocket and then started washing them, then he washed off with some water he had in a bottle. After washing, clean 20 pound bills showed,
Clean as if they are just from the bank!!!
And then he said he needed about K3,500 from me for him to clear the rentals where he is keeping this money so that he can retrieve the boxes and then we can do the washing from somewhere.
The following day, I toke this 20pound note to the bank and it was certified genuine and I even changed it to Kwacka, I stopped communicating with him after this incident.
These crooks have some genuine money to hoodwink unsuspecting people into thinking that there is plenty where this came from but in fact they just have a few genuine notes for scamming
I just thought of sharing this experience, just in case some brother/sister falls in the same trap.
President Sata ‘Anoints’ Children
President Sata says all children must have access to quality education because Zambia’s future depends on them.
President Sata urged Patriotic Front (PF) Solwezi Central parliamentary candidate Newton Malwa to look into the welfare of children if elected into office in today’s by-election.
The President was speaking here yesterday when he addressed a public rally at the show grounds to drum up support for Mr Malwa.
Mr Sata said children should be taken good care of because they hold the future for the country.
“We are all here. Look at these children, where are they going to and those who have children, what plans do you have for them, and you Mr Malwa here, you see all these people, where are these children going to go, so take care of these children,” Mr Sata said.
He said Zambia’s future depends on the children but that it is sad that they do not have access to schools.
President Sata urged Mr Malwa to visit the entire constituency to appreciate the problems that the people are facing and report back to him once he is elected into office.
PF secretary-general Edgar Lungu appealed to the electorate in Solwezi to vote for Mr Malwa.
Mr Lungu said the PF is stronger than ever before and is becoming more attractive.
“After tomorrow’s [today’s] by-election, the party will set an agenda for 2016 and I will not tolerate any nonsense in PF anyone who purports to have a section of followers in the party,” he said.
Minister of Youth and Sport Chishimba Kambwili said Government has partnered with the World Bank to connect the entire Solwezi to the national electricity grid and each household will only be required to pay K150.
Mr Kambwili also said Government has identified contractors to tar a stretch of 60.6kms of township roads in Solwezi.
A further 20kms of road network will be worked on under the Pave Zambia 2000 project.
“Government is committed to delivering on its promises and it is the PF in power which is in control of the national wealth, so it understands better where development is supposed to go,” Mr Kambwili said.
Earlier, Kasama Central MP Geoffrey Mwamba said the PF has been rebranded and there are no camps anymore.
“I wish to congratulate you sir, for your bold decision you took on August 28, to fire former secretary-general [Wynter Kabimba]. Northern Province, which was divided into three factions, is now resolved and united,” Mr Mwamba said.
Kabwata MP Given Lubinda also said there is some breath of fresh air in PF since the departure of Mr Kabimba.
“We are all happy Mr President for appointing Edgar Lungu to lead us. I know he can only make it better over the confusion that had rocked the party,” Mr Lubinda said.
Mr Lubinda further commended Mr Lungu for setting a road map to expedite the constitution-making process within one week of his appointment as party secretary general and Minister of Justice.
He pointed out that there is no reason to create tension over the constitution when there is an option to open dialogue.
Mr Lubinda urged the people of Solwezi to work with Government to expedite development by voting for Mr Malwa.
The Solwezi Central parliamentary seat fell vacant after the Supreme Court nullified the election of MMD’s Lucky Mulusa due to electoral malpractices.
Others contesting the seat are Dawson Kafwaya of the United Party for National Development, FDD’s Nathan Mulonga and UNIP candidate Mary Katiki.
And MMD national youth chairperson Tobias Kafumukache yesterday defected to the PF during a public rally.
And National Revolution Party (NRP) president Cosmo Mumba asked the people of Solwezi to vote for Mr Malwa.
“PF is the only formidable party that has delivered on many projects, such as roads, schools, hospitals and job creation as it promised during campaigns,” Dr Mumba said
President Sata’s Reappearance Has Changed Debate -Ng’oma
Political analyst Alex Ng’oma says Zambians should now be convinced that President Michael Sata is discharging his official duties following his reappearance in the public following wild speculations about his state of health.
Dr Ng’oma has told Qfm News in an interview that it is clear that President Sata’s reappearance has changed public debate which was recently centered on his health status.
Dr. Ngoma says it is unfortunate that there is too much negative talk in the country, when Zambians and politicians in particular should focus on nation building.
He says there is need for Zambians to desist from wishing one another ill, but should embrace love towards each other.
Dr. Ngoma has since called on Zambians to pray for President Michael Sata and other leaders.
Kavindele, Wife Deny Owing KBF K67,000
Enoch Kavindele and wife, Dorothy, have disputed KBF and Partners’ claims that it is owed over K67, 000 legal fees.
The Kavindeles also applied that the matter be referred to taxation for determination of the outstanding amount.
The Lusaka High Court stayed the proceedings and ordered that the matter be referred to taxation as prayed by Kavindele and wife.
“Upon hearing both parties and there being no objection by the plaintiff, it is hereby ordered that the application is granted and the proceedings herein are stayed,” read the order in part.
KBF and Partners sued Kavindele and his wife, claiming K67,290.00 relating to a matter before the High Court in which the couple was represented.
According to an affidavit in support of summons to stay proceedings and refer the matter to taxation, Kavindele stated that when he engaged KBF and Partners, he paid the sum of K30,000 from the dates of commencement of the matter.
He submitted that he later received a writ and statement of claim where a sum of K67,290.00 was being claimed by KBF and Partners.
Kavindele stated that on the scale of the lawyer who handled the matter, he believed that the amount of K30,000 was more than adequate for work done up to the stage where the matter currently was.
“That I dispute that we owe the plaintiff the amount so claimed and it is in that regard that I seek the indulgence of the court to refer the matter for taxation for the determination of the amount outstanding if any,” read the statement in part.
But KBF argued that since Kavindele and wife retained the firm in 2013, the managing partner, Kelvin Bwalya was the one dealing with the matter, at that time being more than 30 years at the bar and thus the scale used for work done during those months was in accordance with the law.
The law firm submitted that the junior lawyer who occasionally dealt with the defendants’ file did so under the strict supervision of KBF Partners.
“That in this regard, the scale used after the managing partner ceased dealing with the defendants is also in accordance with the provision of the law,” stated KBF.
Is Wearing Underwear Compulsory For Zambian Women?
Most women nowadays do not wear underwear for different reasons. Really, is wearing it compulsory?
I just decided to ask the old generation the benefits which come with wearing panties and this is what I got. Firstly, they believe that every woman should always have something underneath to cover her essentials.
It is said that it is for health reasons because when one is moving up and down there is a lot of air pollution and that can easily get into the precious wound.
Still on old generation beliefs, it is also said that a woman should not only wear underwear, but should also put a cloth underneath to stop all the “polluted air” getting inside her. It, therefore, becomes compulsory to wear underwear if you are a woman!
Tell the new generation the above things, many will laugh their lungs out as they believe pant or no pant; it’s all up to an individual.
The different reasons I have heard from women who do not wear underwear are: “I hate it when I am wearing tight fitting clothes and it would be obvious that I am wearing underwear that is why I choose to leave it out. I better wear a thong or not at all.”
For some, not wearing underwear has just become a habit and they feel comfortable. The worst reasons I got are from those who do not wear pants because they hate washing their dirt.
Sisters, I believe every woman should wear underwear and the only time when someone cannot wear it is during bedtime, guess you know the reasons! What is better, for everyone to see that you are wearing underwear because it’s tracing on your leggings or for everyone to see that there is nothing underneath?
I guess most people will prefer the first one. Not wearing lingerie is not really sexy, but instead it makes one appear cheap!
A woman is one of the beautiful living things in the world. When lingerie came into existence, it expressed the sex appeal of a woman and provided support to their physique. The term lingerie is used to describe the women’s underwear.
Lingerie consists of a wide variety of terms like panties, bras, thongs, stockings, peignoirs, exotic night wears and sheer night gowns. Nowadays, women have more focus on luxury and designer lingerie. The colours like red, white, black and pink are the priorities for women.
There is a broad range of luxury lingerie available on the market like baby doll, bridal and see through. Women who have an extra large size can also choose from a lot of options available and being big does not mean one has to stop wearing pants.
Lingerie is something that is linked to women. Men are usually known as practical human beings that you would not see them looking for luxurious undergarments. Lingerie usually has their own clothing boutique and it is welldesigned and sexy compared to typical undergarments. Even though this type of apparel cannot be flaunted and tend to be costly, wearing lingerie is said to have some benefits to women.
The common notion why women wear lingerie is to attract men. It is worn to boost the excitement between partners. Today, there are other more personal reasons that a woman considers for owning this apparel. Flattering and beautifully crafted lingerie has a positive effect on the mind and body.
Lingerie like corsets, bustier, brassiere, thongs and G-string are tight when worn and enhance the shape of the body. They do not only make a person wearing them look better but also add confidence and self-esteem to that person. Lingerie is also meant to make women feel comfortable.
Besides the basic items, bras and panty, half slip can be worn on top of the aforementioned more intimate underwear. It is more suitable when wearing dresses and skirts. It is used to create more depth for thin dresses so intimate apparels would not be visible, to preserve fine fabric from perspiration and to protect the skin from wool or other rough material. Lingerie is not only applicable for young and people with thin body. It gives more benefit to those with curvy and saggy figures. It can offer instant slimming effect and can tighten loose skin which probably has an effect of aging.
Owning lovely pieces that are worn under the clothes is one way for women to please themselves. If the undergarment you are wearing makes you feel sexy, then it is definitely the way to go for I know all women want to feel that way.
Believe me, some of those women in the habit of moving around without panties are never at peace with themselves because their biggest concern is whether people can realise that they are not wearing anything underneath. Do not expose yourself to bacteria and diseases, wear underwear!

Kaingu’s Intention To Withdraw Monthly Contribution SHOCKS MMD
MMD Deputy National Secretary Chembe Nyangu says the indication by Mwandi Member of Parliament Michael Kaingu that he will stop making monthly contributions to the former ruling party has consequences on his status in the party.
Dr. Kaingu was recently quoted saying that he has withdrawn his monthly contribution towards the operations of the MMD party because the party is not is not yielding any dividends in by-elections.
But Mr. Nyangu has told Qfm news in an interview that he does not believe Dr. Kaingu can do such a thing considering the consequences of such an action.
He says it is a widely accepted practice that every member of a club such as a political party has a responsibility to make contributions to the club and that if a member chooses to stop making such contributions; he/she ceases to be a member.
Mr. Nyangu says it is for this reason that he does not understand how Dr. Kaingu could have possibly hinted at withdrawal his monthly contribution to the party which he is currently making together with other MMD MPs.

Nigeria Says 20 Police Still Missing After Boko Haram Attack
ABUJA: Twenty Nigerian police officers are still missing three weeks after Boko Haram fighters attacked a training academy outside the remote northeastern town of Gwoza, the country’s police chief said on Tuesday (Sep 9).
Inspector General Suleiman Abba told reporters that police would “not relent in the efforts of tracing them”.
Initially, police said 35 officers were missing after the attack on Aug 21. Abba said some had since returned, without explaining how.
“We have been able to trace some of the officers who have reported back to their bases. Some have even reported back to their families,” he said.
Boko Haram Islamists attacked the police academy near Gwoza in Borno state two weeks after they seized the town and declared it part of an Islamic caliphate they are seeking to establish in northern Nigeria.
They went on to capture Bama, 50 kilometres (30 miles) to the north on Sep 1, killing scores of people.
The government, which has faced criticism for its failure to effectively confront the militants, said on Tuesday it was fighting back successfully.
“Only this morning it was reported that the military is in total and firm control of Bama,” government spokesman Mike Omeri told reporters.
“Consistent effort is ongoing to ensure that firm control is taken of areas that are being challenged by insurgent actions.”
Boko Haram is blamed for more than 10,000 deaths since 2009 and has repeatedly targeted the police and military.
It is believed to be in control of large swathes of Borno, its historic stronghold, as well as towns and villages in neighbouring Adamawa and Yobe. The three states have been under emergency rule since May last year.

For Married Women/Men Only:Foods To Avoid Before SEX
You’ve probably heard about foods, which boost your sex drive or raise your sex quotient. But did you also know that there are foods, which can be a total put off when consumed before sex. We have listed the foods to avoid before sex.
Beans
Beans are a good source of fibre and proteins for our body. But they also contain a type of sugar that doesn’t digest fast and causes bloating and gas. We can all agree that a gassy and bloating belly is not ideal for sex.
Garlic
Garlic adds extra flavour to our food, but it is really a good idea before sex. It not only has a strong scent which can be an instant turn off but also has starches that can cause bloating.
Cheese
You probably didn’t expect cheese to make it to the list of foods to avoid before sex, but the truth is that cheese can be a smelly nightmare and can turn your partner off. Cheese breath lingers on long after it has been consumed, so skip this food if you want to impress your partner.
Red meat
A fancy steak meal may sound like a perfect night out but you might want to reconsider your choice of meat. Red meat is heavy and can take a long time to digest. This will leave you feeling sluggish and sleepy, which will surely affect your performance in bed.
French fries
French fries are filled with tran’s fats that can lower testosterone levels and decrease blood circulation. They also contain a lot of salt, which can make it difficult for men with high blood pressure to keep up a strong erection.
Peppermint
While you might think that chomping on a peppermint for fresh breath is a good idea before sex, studies show that the menthol present in peppermint can reduce testosterone levels and this can affect your sex drive.
Sata Tells Lubinda,GBM To Stop Talking About Kabimba
President Michael Sata yesterday told Geoffrey Mwamba and Given Lubinda to hold their own meeting after they spoke at length over the firing of Wynter Kabimba at a campaign rally the Head of State addressed in Solwezi.
Like he did in Mkushi, President Sata allowed PF secretary general Edgar Lungu to introduce party members of parliament, members of the central committee and councillors, but Lubinda and Mwamba used the occasion to express joy at the dismissal of former justice minister Kabimba.
When called to introduce himself, Lubinda sighed audibly through the microphone three times to signal his relief, which he later explained to be as a result of “a sense of fresh air” since Lungu took over the position of secretary general.
“I sighed three times Your Excellency. There is a sense of fresh brain in the PF now. There is a sense of fresh air, a sense of fresh breath now, a sense of peace, love and unity. Some of us were in the wilderness, but I said it before that the one who cast a spell on the PF will be exposed by himself. I would like to borrow the words of my friend Chishimba Kambwili.
I wish that his political soul will rest in eternal peace,” Lubinda said in apparent reference to Kabimba.
He went on to eulogise Lungu for swiftly moving to provide a road map for the constitution-making process within weeks of being appointed justice minister.
“Congratulations President Sata for appointing my good friend as secretary general. The issue which was bringing unnecessary confusion and tension in the country, Edgar has already taken the constitution matter to a round-table discussion,” said Lubinda.
Similarly, Mwamba did not rally any support for the PF Solwezi Central parliamentary candidate Newton Malwa, nor did he mention the candidate’s name throughout his 10-minute address. He instead used the moment to express his joy at the sacking of Kabimba two weeks ago.
“You don’t know what you have done Your Excellency. On 28th August 2014, PF was rebranded after you took that bold decision, which was welcomed not only by the PF; the whole country celebrated. Edgar is a level-headed man.
He cannot bring confusion in the party, unlike the former honourable.
People thought when I resigned I was going to form a political party, but that is not possible…” Mwamba continued before he was interjected by Lungu.
“Your Excellency, you have asked me to tell these two men to hold their own meetings,” Lungu said. “I am telling these men now to stop and hold their own meetings. They will come back Your Excellency after the elections to come and address the people.”
In instructing Lungu, President Sata said the rally was not organised for the two members of parliament to talk about themselves.
“Can you go and tell those two to hold their own meetings if they want to talk about that; this is not their rally,” he said.
Shortly afterwards, the PF choir was called to perform before President Sata addressed the gathering.
In his address, President Sata tasked Malwa to go round North Western Province once elected member of parliament to meet people and record their problems, which he should take to him.
“Being an MP is not only about being able to talk. You have to go round, meet the people in this province. Hear their problems and come to see me, I will help you,” he said.
Earlier, President Sata reiterated his call for parents to send their children to school.
“Mr Malwa, have you seen all these people? Where are these children going? Some do not go to school. Some of them have been expelled from school.
There are some people who do not have children, but those who have children what plans do you have for your children? The Kaonde people gave us a saying: ‘Muzungu wabula kajo kumusebenzela ne’. (I cannot work for a whiteman who has no money) The future of this country is in the hands of the young people,” said President Sata.
